Back to the Future - Trilogy Limited Edition Blu Ray Box Set
Robert Zemekis’ and Steven Spielberg’s Back to the Future trilogy is one of the most successful Hollywood franchises ever, and here the insanely entertaining time-travelling triptych gets the Blu-Ray treatment for the first time. This Limited Collectors edition is a must for any hardcore fans of Marty McFly’s adventure through the past, present and future.
The films themselves still stand up and remain as funny and absorbing as they ever were. Michael J. Fox is the deceptively diminutive (“Nobody… calls me… chicken….”) hero Marty McFly, who teams up with the slightly unhinged Doc (Christopher Lloyd), a scientist who has added a ‘flux capacitor’ to a Delorean and turned it into a time machine. Unfortunately he has also stolen the nuclear material used to power the device from Libyan terrorists, and Marty is forced to escape from them in the time machine, ending up back in 1955 in the process. There follows a protracted but gloriously inventive journey through the constantly shifting space-time continuum; over the course of three films Marty meets (and flirts with) his parents, travels to a future complete with hover-boards, and even goes to the Wild West.
This limited edition tin box release comes complete with over two hours of exclusive Blu-Ray bonus footage taking you deeper behind the scenes of the trilogy than ever before. It also contains a number of bonus collectors items, including Delorean blueprint, Outtatime number plate, Sports Almanac, Save The Clocktower poster, and a Lenticular photo of Marty's family. The films are must-haves, and this is the definitive edition.
